In December 2010 i enrolled in a UNSW elective and joined a group of other design students on a trip to Suzhou in China. We visited several Chinese Gardens and photographed our adventures. We then used these photos to make 12 collages, of which we submitted 9. Here are 10 photos documenting the day-to-day activities that we enjoyed during our time in China.

Day 10
This was taken at our final dinner with the class. We finished our food and took to taking photos of each other. Here Erick, Matt and Max are comparing photos. This was a pretty emotional time as we all realised the adventure was coming to an end. It was a good night.
Day 9
Here Matt and Dima are seen cuddling as they come to terms with our last night together. It was a beautiful moment. The closeness of the relationships that were formed was inspirational. Everyone doing the subject were great people, i was privileged to get to know them.
Day 8
Max and Sunnam dance to keep warm on this cold night on The Bund in Shanghai. This was a free night on which we explored both Nanjing Rd and The Bund. The city was looking beautiful tonight.
Day 7
This was taken in the last garden we visited in Suzhou. Here Susan and others are talking about the cold while they seek shelter from the rain under the awning of this building.
Day 6
(Left to right) Dima, Matt, Jo and Sam enjoy a photo taken on Matt's camera while we wait on a bridge during an optional Old City walk.
Day 5
Taken during one of many games of Mafia, most people had just started getting the hang of the game and as such their skepticism was beginning to wear off. (Left to right) Dima, Sunnam, Matt and Ray are seen trying to find out who to vote out.
Day 4
This was taken in garden called "Mountain Villa with Embracing Beauty." This garden was famous for its extensive rockery, said to be over 70m in length. Access is however restricted so we had to take Stans word on that. Pictured is Ricky and his new girlfriend as they share an umbrella while Matt, Dima, Ray and Max talk shop in the background. This was a beautiful garden, the experience was improved in my opinion by the lite sprinkle of rain that started falling that morning.
Day 3
A group of students sit and discuss their opinion of this garden. Little Sam was the center of attention again, he was a crowd pleaser. Dima on the far right considers his next 'money shot,' somebody has to pay the bills and his photos were doing it throughout the duration of the trip.
Day 2
From left to right, Sunnam, Matt, Jo and Ray are enthralled by their work. This was ground zero for internet use for the week as Matt and Ericks room had working wifi. This was a favorite meeting place during the trip, probably due to this fact.
Day 1
Day 1 of visiting the gardens in Suzhou. Here Ray and Dima are looking for the perfect shot in this little pavilion.
